Junk a Car — a startup with auction mechanics, was looking to create a community engagement tool to allow junk car sellers to engage with junkyards. They were looking for a partner who could not only deliver a high-quality app within budget, but do so in a timely manner while testing customers assumptions. Audax managed to create a platform to sell used cars through an auction where owners could get the best price on the market.
With the previous partner, Junk a Car struggled to launch on time and the platform that was developed required business process validation and concept checks. Due to user experience and functional issues the company had to come up with a plan on how to regain lost customers. The New COO suggested approaching Audax.
Some of the main selling challenges included:
Developed and launched a fully-featured web app that has been road-tested by users, which helped to rebuild trust and regain lost customers as well as attract new ones.
